Fellow Canadian Lance has had a tough time, gaining no podium finishes this season.
He only managed 11th place at last week’s Dutch GP despite being cheered on by his new squeeze.
This despite his veteran teammate Fernando Alonso grabbing an impressive second place on the podium behind current F1 champ, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
There have even been rumours that Lance could be planning to swap his seat in F1 for a career as a tennis player.
These have been dismissed by his Aston Martin team, which is owned by Stroll’s dad Lawrence.
He will take his place on the grid for this Sunday’s Monza GP in Italy.
